Grandma and I

Learning Goal: I am learning to write a narrative text.

Success criteria: I can do this when I have

•  a Title
• Beginning: Who is the story about?
• Middle: describe the problem and the solution
• End: What happened at the end?

My grandma drank her cup of tea while I played with my cat.

Grandma spilled her cup of tea on her hand.  She placed her hand under the running water. I got the clean towel and gave it to grandma. Grandma felt better. 

Grandma knew what to do.

Trampoline Park

Learning goal: We are learning to write a descriptive text.

Success criteria: We can do this when we can use describing  words.

My family and I went to the Trampoline Park. I saw my uncle and my dad did a back flip. I was brave to do a back flip too. I jumped and bounced. I jumped and did a front flip. I jumped and jumped higher than my cousin.
We all had a good time.

My Trip To The Beach

Learning goal: We are learning to write a descriptive text.

Success criteria: We can do this when we can use describing  words.

In the weekend my family and I went to the beach. My mum and my dad and I played catch in the sand and I felt the sand gritty between my toes. I splashed and swam in the warm water. The waves swished me away from my dad.

Describe Popcorn

Learning goal: We are learning to write a descriptive text.
Success criteria: We can do this when We can describe popcorn using our five senses.

I like popcorn. I like popcorn because it is buttery and salty. It smells delicious and buttery. It crunches in my mouth like dried leaves.

All About Me

Father's Day

Learning intention: I am learning to write a recount .
Success criteria: I know I can do this when I can

• write an orientation
• write what I did in order
• write how I feel 

On father's day my family and I went to Mac Donald to give my dad a surprise party.It was his birthday too. 
We ate crispy fries and burgers. I liked the burgers because it had my favourite lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber pickles and chicken. My dad said thank you for the party.
Then we went home and slept. We had a great party and everyone enjoyed it.

My Weekend

Learning intention: I am learning to write about an experience.
In the weekend I stayed at home with my family. I watched a movie called Tinkerbell. Tinkerbell wore a pretty blue dress and blue shoes. She looked pretty. I like the movie because the girls wear pretty dresses.

Trip To The Museum

Learning intention: I am learning to write about an experience.

In the holidays I went to the museum with my family.
I like the Museum because we went into the volcano house.  It exploded with bright orange and red colours.
We had a great time.

Learning Intention: I am learning to name some l sea creatures in rock pools.

This is my rock pool. In my rock pool I have a crab and some sea shells. I have sea weeds and snake lock anemones.
